About the auction

This charity auction of Cuban art and vintage cigars will be held in Havana during the 2026 Habanos Festival. La Ceiba Cubana Project supports education and rural communities in Pinar del Río, Cuba. We focus on improving conditions for children and families in farming communities, helping to create sustainable opportunities now and for future generations. By supporting local schools, children can build successful lives without having to leave their families and communities.

In an area that experiences power outages of up to 20 hours a day, the initial goal is to install solar panels and battery storage systems for the two local schools in the Moncada Community in Pinar del Río. This will provide reliable lighting and safe food preparation facilities for students and staff, supporting learning, well-being and long-term community resilience.
